RoundWorm
These are very common in Puppies as they often infected from their mother. Although a Puppy may vomit or pass adult worm in his fleece, he very frequently only sheds the microscopic eggs so that the Puppy has a worm burden.
Roundworm can, very rarely, cause problems if ingested by children, and in several cases can damage their eyesight, so regurlar worming throughtout life is essential.
TapeWorm
The long, flat worm lives within the intestine, with its head firmly anchored into the wall, and rice-like segments called proglottids break off from the end and pass out into yhe faeces. They may be spotted in the motions themselves, or more commonly, stuck to the hair around the anal region.
Treatment :
Veterinary worming preparations are simple to use, safe and vet effective, so there is no reason not to use them as a routine prevention on a regular basis.
